Ashley Baez

In her role as a School Leadership Coach, Ashley supports schools as they implement research-based strategies to improve student outcomes and build student agency. Ashley primarily focuses on coaching and providing professional development to school leaders and teachers in schools that are in the Emerge or Elevate pathway.

Prior to joining Instructional Empowerment, Ashley worked as a public school teacher, leader and principal in Brooklyn, NY and Charlotte, NC. While serving in those capacities, Ashley set a high bar for positive culture, parent involvement, and academic performance. Ashley led turnaround work where she prioritized a foundation for adult culture and transparent leadership to drive a positive student culture with exceptional academic performance even throughout the pandemic.

Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She holds a master’s degree in special education from Relay Graduate School of Education.
