Coaching for Instructional Leadership: Elevating Teacher Capacity through Collaborative Feedback and Support

Instructional Leadership is more than unpacking standards, data dives, and classroom observations. Being an instructional leader means being the “head coach” of your school.

In this session, you will learn how to be a coach for your leadership team and teachers. Learn how to craft and plan for meaningful conversations by using the MOI Implementation Progression to build teacher capacity through feedback.

Participants will practice using invitational coaching language, discuss strategies for soliciting teachers’ thoughts about how to improve their instruction more intentionally and make connections to supportive resources in Empowerment Central.
