Eva Tucker-Nevels, EdD, has over 40 years of experience in public and private education. She has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, principal, trainer/consultant, Director of Professional Learning, District Executive Director for supervision of Elementary through High Schools and School Improvement Officer and is currently an independent consultant with Instructional Empowerment.
Eva has consulted at the local, state, and national levels regarding instructional improvements and leadership that focused on equity, excellence, and engineering success for students.
As a principal and district leader, Eva facilitated and led schools in continuous improvement. She has experiences in and is very passionate about teaching for learning, leadership coaching, and developing collaborative working cultures, utilizing the Marzano Framework for teachers and school leaders. Eva is committed to supporting and empowering educators at every level, to push their development using leadership and instructional practices, strategies, and resources that honor the unique development and achievement of “our” students.
Eva earned her doctorate in Teaching and Leadership in 2003 from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.
