Liz Herbert is an IE School Leadership Coach who supports school leadership teams as they implement evidence-based core instruction designed to increase rigor and student agency. In this role, she meets school leaders where they are at and builds upon their strengths as she supports them in developing effective teams who use data to drive school improvement.
Liz has over 23 years of experience in Education serving in public and private Title 1 schools in Denver, CO. She was an elementary and middle school teacher, a curriculum developer, an instructional coach, an assistant principal, a middle school principal, and an educational consultant prior to joining IE. Having served in multiple roles in Education, Liz brings a holistic understanding of the work and an unwavering belief that all students deserve a learning environment that fosters a sense of connection and belonging through engaging and rigorous instruction.
