Mary is principal at a public alternative middle and high school in the suburbs of Illinois serving students who are identified as At-Risk Youth. She has been an educator for 20 years and has worked in special education and alternative settings which requires specialized programming for students with various disabilities and needs. Mary’s goal is to improve instruction in an alternative setting so that students can maximize their full potential for desired post secondary outcome and believes that training and retaining highly qualified teachers can create a positive learning environment for all students. Mary is also a leadership coach/consultant with Threshold Learning and provides professional development opportunities for schools across the Midwest region.
