From Standards to Student Evidence – How to Plan for Tasks that Ensure Students Show Mastery of the Standards

We all know how important it is to plan lessons based on our state standards, but what if student work does not align with the complexity of the standard? The challenge for educators is to plan for student evidence that shows mastery of the standard.  We’ll explore in depth how to plan tasks that tackle the full scope of a standard, enabling instructors and leaders to know when students have achieved mastery.
