Creating Optimal Learning Environments to Empower Students

It can be daunting to entrust learning to student-led teams due to concerns about potential disorder and behavioral challenges. Yet, empowering students with autonomy necessitates their ownership of learning and conduct. In this session, we will intertwine the levers of the Model of Instruction with trauma-invested strategies to foster conducive learning environments. Discover approaches to building respectful classrooms, cultivating strong connections with students, addressing conflicts constructively, and setting clear expectations and routines for positive student behavior. Together, let’s craft a learning atmosphere that nurtures responsibility and empowers students.
