Exercising Your Core Isn’t Just in the Gym! ELA Core Actions

Common Core State Standards set a high bar for standards-based planning and learning. It also created a need to establish a clear vision for instruction that would drive deeper learning in all content areas. The Core Actions were developed to actualize this vision.

In this session, we will explore what the Core Actions for ELA look and sound like in classrooms, and identify ways in which educators can leverage the practice indicators to accelerate instructional change. (Please also see the corresponding session for Mathematics Core Actions.)
